VivaChek Link Plus is listed as a blood glucose meter with 4G cellular data transfer. That is a different deployment question from pairing a Bluetooth meter to a nearby phone: network service and the receiving data platform both need to work in the intended market.

Qualify the whole connection
- Confirm the exact hardware version, supported local network and provisioning arrangement. A 4G label alone does not establish coverage.
- Identify the receiving portal, account owner and permitted users. Request an actual data-flow demonstration with a test record.
- Ask which network or platform fees apply, who renews service and what happens when a contract ends.
- Verify time settings, units, offline storage, reconnection and duplicate-record handling in the supplied system.
- Confirm privacy responsibilities, data export and support escalation before collecting patient information.
Compare against the intended job
A connected meter may support a remote care workflow, but the product page does not establish compatibility with a particular clinic’s records or a reimbursed program. Ask the supplier to demonstrate the required interface and document who monitors incoming records. Data transmission alone is not a care service.
For a hardware quote, keep strip references, control solution, service duration and network responsibilities beside the meter price. This guide has not tested Link Plus connectivity or verified a live service contract.
