Professional diagnostics: match instrument and assay.

Independent guide · Updated 18 October 2026

VivaDiag spans several professional point-of-care testing families. An analyzer’s connectivity or channel count does not establish that every listed assay is compatible. Confirm the instrument, kit and software configuration together.

FIA analyzer family

AnalyzerPublished distinguishing detail
VivaDiag VIM1000Professional immunofluorescence analyzer; RS232/USB/COM; built-in printer.

Beyond the FIA instrument

FamilyKeep these distinctions clear
HbA1cA professional FIA test kit; analyzer compatibility needs its own confirmation.
VivaDiag Plus HBHemoglobin and calculated hematocrit; dedicated Plus Hemoglobin Test Strips, distinct from 6IN1 electrochemical Hb strips.
VivaDiag LipidDedicated test devices; verify directly measured versus calculated outputs.
Molecular VPM1003Qualitative RNA/DNA testing using compatible reagents; not a blood gas analyzer.
MC100 / MS100Separate coagulation and chemistry analyzers with dedicated panels.

A procurement file that can be checked

Ask for a configuration list naming the analyzer, software, assays, specimen requirements and intended setting. Request compatible kit instructions, calibration/control procedures, training and local service. Validate interfaces with a demonstration rather than relying on an available-port list.

Rapid-test categories can reuse abbreviations with different meanings. In particular, “KET” in a drug-of-abuse catalogue must not be treated as proof of a blood β-ketone assay. Read the full assay name and intended use. Veterinary products also have a separate intended-user and specimen scope.
